I'm not exactly sure what you mean, or where you stand on this issue... But my first thought was the biased and ridiculous attitude by our media and law enforcement, in that the seriousness of the charge was more important than the nature of the evidence. This is still a country where someone is presumed innocent until proven guilty. I find polls like this one at Fox news to be very alarming.

This reminds me of the former IMF chief, Strauss-Kahn, regarding his alleged sexual assault of a hotel maid. The seriousness of the charge once again took precedence over the nature of the evidence, and he was arrested before any evidence was brought against him. Now we're learning the hotel maid was a prostitute, lied to law enforcement officers, and had over $100k in the bank.

Yet another fine example was Micheal Jackson and the child molestation charges that were brought against him...

In all three cases above, the individuals were presumed guilty, and were left trying to prove themselves innocent. This is the exact opposite of how our justice system is supposed to function. Our country has become reactionary. Perhaps Casey Anthony is guilty of all the charges the prosecution had against her. But we'd be starting down a very dangerous path in condemning and sentencing her for a crime we can't prove she's committed. It seems many Americans no longer consider or respect the rule of law. Many people are quick to condemn the accused, regardless of the evidence (or lack thereof), and no longer believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty. This is a path that always leads to tyranny, fascism, and totalitarianism.

Why not? Our govt already throws money out the window worse than the French Kings of the 1500's.

Who's Casey Anthony? Kidding... why am I kidding? Because for the last couple years she has been on the news for murdering her daughter, not suspected of it! Every news network was on the same boat on this one. Nancy Grace had fun too! Of course she always dogs on the experts, why? Biased...

I, for one, cannot say she's guilty just by listening to the news. Convincing? Totally... but so many rebuttals were lacked. Lying to the police and making up several different stories about the death of her daughter doesn't add up though. I was seeking answers during this trial and found none. She didn't even take the stand. How are we supposed to know what happened to little Caylee? Making up more than two different stories about the death of your own daughter should send the message right there. Not guilty... hmmmm. Maybe, but I doubt it. In the legal system, that's not icing on the cake. No physical evidence means not guilty but in my opinion, the social evidence was overwhelming; you just don't go out and party after your daughter goes missing while you haven't even made a report... one month....

If she is guilty, she will be judged in a higher place.... not here.

Dead children > Legal system.

It's the fact that people keep walking away from trials like this scotch free. A few simple bs legal precedents and a playground of semantics is all it takes. But, I suppose the preservation of the system shall always take precedence.

And I'm actually not emotionally invested in this trial as my posts would obviously suggest. The girl is dead now... there's no going back. I do wish there would be a bit of closure for those involved with the victim, but meh, it aint happenin.

What truly sickens me is the money she'll make off the books, websites, reality shows, etc. She'll justa keepona truckin'.

Oh, and Nancy Grace can be included in the hippies category. Her ridiculous use of pathos gets annoying.

Some say that's why she's so good at brainwashing. It's sad when experts come on her show and she totally rips on them. Then some random caller calls and says, "Oh Nancy, I love your kids!" And then she gets all sweet & nice and says, "Thank you." The experts are probably rolling their eyes when the "on-air" light goes off.

4 years in prison. How harsh.

Since double jeapordy is out of the option, hopefully she engages in more activities like these:

If those activities go according to plan, we could have another trial by 2015.

Most people would if she weren't a child-killing maniac.

I hope she tries her hand at some porn so she dies an even slower and more painful death.
