Zorro's TDM Map Pack

When I was 13 years old, I had just discovered mapmakersheaven. There, I found the coolest TDM map pack ever made which was by none other than Zorro. I recall a map with rainbows, a black-and-white map, a red map with tunnels and scary heights, and a few others.

Where can I getz?!

I'll upload tonight if Zorro doesn't first. That's right, ol' BM has backups.

It was called Ultimate Map Pack. Best TDM maps out there... meant for open play. Put them in your server!

You guys are awesome. I think I remember Zorro saying that BM doesn't backup anything... :? so you have redeemed yourself! I want to add bigger maps to my server because I think the amount of traffic it receives now can accommodate larger space for gameplay even though the majority of players favor CQB. Larger maps can be more exciting and definitely more suspenseful.

Thanks!

CQB maps are fun once in a while for me. You pretty much just spray in 2 or 3 spots and whoever doesn't freeze wins. I tend to think that CQB maps that utilize a ton of connected stone walls and a lot of items are prone to freezing and sysdumps, though. That may not be true since I don't remember having many problems in your wrestling arena. Perhaps it relies on good design and avoiding glitchy, overlapping items.

While they can be fun for a while, I get bored of dying from base nade spammers as soon as I pop up. I like having open fields where both assault and sniper strategies come into play. The stock DF2 terrains make for wonderful gameplay. I wish there would've been more maps built on the terrain with a lot of trenches. Perfect CTF land.

And did you update your avatar just to be like me?

When I'm using trainers, I fly across excellent terrain zones never utilized before that would be perfect for combat.

I also believe freezing has a lot to do with poor map making (flashy items, overlaps, etc.). It seems like ladders and ruins make you freeze a lot though too. I wouldn't even attempt at trying to fix it. It's not a big issue... Annoying, yes, but pretty uncommon.

Nah, the hinges broke on it and the screen went out (again).

I now have an Acer Aspire v3-571G, and it's 30x's better, mainly because of the dedicated GPU. I shall never be held back by the bonds of Intel HD Integrated Graphics again!

Cool. I'm still a fan of them and bought 3 more in the last couple months -- used but newer (late '11 - '12). With SSDs and >/=8GB of RAM, they're incredible.

Did you drop yours again, breaking the screen? :)

Does anyone know where I can get Zorro's Ultimate Map Pack? I'd love to add them to my server (January War). Thanks.
