Trump. I'm not an active supporter of his and will not be voting for him in the primaries, but will likely vote for him in the General Election if he's nominated for the Republican ticket. Although you and I tend to disagree on a lot of things (particularly social issues), based on past discussions we do appear to have common ground on a lot of the economic and foreign policy issues. But policies aside...

I just don't think Hillary is going to be able to pull it off in the General Election if she's nominated. The reason for this is the millennial voters; they see an old hag. As the younger voters start learning about the "bimbo eruptions" from the 90s where Hillary practically destroyed all of the women who spoke out about Bill's improprieties, she'll have a difficult time selling her political candy. For better or for worse, I sense a tremendous amount of restlessness among all of the voters right now, and just like the Republican base didn't want another Bush, I don't see the country as a whole wanting another Clinton. Restlessness can sometimes be a good thing, because it can bring about much needed change. But there's good change and bad change, and when people get frustrated they sometimes make bad decisions. The Republican base is definitely frustrated with the establishment right now, and I think the country as a whole is growing weary of the two-party system. With that in mind, whether or not Trump represents "good change" or "bad change" is obviously a matter of another discussion, especially when the question is put into light with Hillary alongside Trump on the ballot.

Regardless, I could make a fortune if I was on Trump's campaign staff, because I would rewrite his campaign slogan to this:

We're pretty much aligned politically. If I had to vote tomorrow, I'd probably vote for Trump (but I'll probably not vote). It's a shame that Rand Paul dropped out because I liked him much better. The problem I have with Trump is that he seems to only talk about the border, ISIS, and jobs going overseas. I'd like to hear him talk more about justice, education and the environment but he's like a broken record on only three issues. I like how he's not too gay-bashing like Cruz and Rubio though, that's cool. I think Cruz and Rubio's religions would get in the way of them doing their job because they always talk about God instead of the Constitution.

Hillary Clinton really scares me and I doubt she'll win the presidency. If the Benghazi incident and the email controversy never took place, however, she'd have a strong chance at winning. I guess she still does but I don't see her winning, I'd be shocked if she does.

Bernie Sanders is a cool old man, I really like the guy personally and his intentions are good but he's way too socialist for me. With him as president, spending would go through the roof and many small businesses would fail if the minimum wage was raised to 15 bucks an hour, that's just insane.

And Jeb Bush was hilarious! RIP

As I said, we're definitely at odds on social issues (gay marriage, for example). But I think we're both on the same page when it comes to Hillary and Jeb Bush (hehe). I actually really liked that Huckabee had some common sense. Rather than trying to come up with complex, expensive workarounds to the medicare/medicaid dilemmas, attack the root cause and pour money into beating the 4 major diseases driving expenses.

I'm willingly apathetic towards politics and elections. After the 2000 election, I cannot be convinced my vote matters.
