Social Experimentations... Breaking the Ice

During College English 12, my teacher asked us what we valued. Everyone was saying family as #1. Once gas ran out on that parallel, there was a pause... a long pause. I raised my hand and said religion. My teacher asked me why. My reply: "Because I want to have eternal life." Some students cheered. From that point on, the rest of the formerly shy students were saying religion without hesitation and with confidence and pride. I attend a public school where atheists fill the hallways and classrooms. It's amazing to me how many people shy away from their faith in public schools only because they question whether it would be acceptable. It's also amazing to me how many people come out once the ice breaks and after tension is crushed. I think the main hesitation is questioning what's said in church should stay in church and what conformity is in public schools should stay as being conformed. It feels good to mix the two... have other Christians know their fellow Christians and what they stand behind, unite, and support. It's a good feeling to throw religion at public schools whether the state likes it or not; I'm a student and they can't do anything about it, MUHAHAHAHA!!!
