not to be a party pooper, but it think a solid portion of "reality" in these "projects" is the fact that the community surrounding it is mature and focused on an objective.

your not beeing nothing bro :p U just telling a fact... Yes, mature COmmunity helps A LOT in the experience of realism, combined, offcourse with some characteristics the game\mod has that makes it a little more realistic then others (Supression, Communication, bleeding, 1 shot kills or 2 maxs, HHUUUge maps, a lot of vehicles (Air sea ground, and even the type of games in it, Insurgency mode mainly) ... All those things together make of this game a real teamwork game ... But offcourse, the only reality is real life, and no game will ever get close to it :)

This is a modification of Battlefield 2. Wikipedia says "Project Reality (abbreviated to PR) is an unfinished series of tactical First-person shooter video games which aim to create a realistic combat environment and place great emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. Project Reality includes two modifications for the computer game Battlefield 2 on the PC, a modification for the computer game ArmA 2, and an unreleased standalone sequel Project Reality 2 built on the C4 engine, still in pre-production development."

So it adds updated weapons and such to Battlefield 2?

I've always regretted not getting BF2. It would play nicely on my laptop I believe and got excellent reviews. I also played the demo and by no means am I an audophile, but I LOVED the audio from this game. I guess you still play it Newborn? Anyone else?

If it isn't past its prime, I may look into it some day when I have the money.

Yes... Its just battlefield, but with new weapons, sounds, vehicles and maps... the only thing i see that it has more then battlefields is the cenario items (Trees, buildings)... But if you laptop run BF2 itl run PR. Ohh, and about audio... the AUdio in PR is independant from Bf2 man... they made new and more realistic sounds. Hmm, ive played BF2 until recently, but since i found PR its only PR XD... Ask Pause where he got his Bf2 man, he got it for 10 bucks i f i record correctly :S .
