Cloud Nine Squad {C-iX}

I thought I would put this post here as members and visitors can see it.

Joining our room has proven to be a little complicated for some so below are instructions on how to do so; but before those are some notes.

Notes

- Cheat patches, game updates, etc are not needed here. The only thing you need to join is the bare install of the game and that's it. The game itself doesn't even need to be installed, you just need the game files and you have it.
- I have a copy of the game available on my server for anyone who wants to download it; the link is http://www.sbccrew.com/NovaLogic.zip (use exact grammar)


Joining C-iX Open

- Open GameRanger, scroll down to Delta Force 2 and click Join at the top.
- Once inside the DF2 room, click Join on the bottom right.
- The game will then open up where on the top right it will search and find the hosted room.
- Once it finds it, click Stop, highlight our room and click Join; then you're in.
- Kill or be killed, baby

We are working on getting LAN Messenger working and once we do, we will alternate maps and make the server more moderated.

Please note.. any and all people who give us crap (and there have been a few), will not be allowed in this server; so behave yourself or leave. And as usual, no cheaters, proners, base raping, game mods, or any other cheat device is not allowed and you will be banned from the server.

Thanks Jackal. In the future will it be possible to join C-iX Open through the traditional lobby?

IMHO the traditional lobby is too shady and no exposure to the outside world. We've already met a few people through game ranger and that's FAR more than played in our Nova Server recently.

I cannot find DF2.

Now that Pause has explained to me what to do, I will get the server back up tonight when I get home. So for those of you looking to play as soon as possible you will have access around 11pm pacific time tonight.
