Case: Antec Lanboy Air (Not sure what color)
Power Supply: CORSAIR 850W
Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 PRO (Still debating with myself on this)
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB)
Hard Drives: 2 x Western Digital Caviar 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb
Video Card: Haven't decided. Looking in the $200-$300 range (pointless to go top of the line) or going with two mid-range SLI or Crossfire.
Working on making a budget for it. I would probably purchase sometime early summer. I'm aiming for about $1800 for the total build cost, which would be about what I spent on my current rig many years ago. The rig's purpose is intensive rendering (3D stuff; reason for 16GB of RAM), multi-tasking, and moderate gaming.
I'll update the thread as the stuff changes. I'm basically wanting a rig that will last me 7+ years like my current rig has done. I've built many rigs over the years for everyone but myself. My last build was a Xeon behemoth. So now it's time to spoil myself (a little, but only when budget allows).
