Why do we play that game?

It's just exchanging words. Swapping single words provides little joy or amusement to one's self.

It's just as much pointless as having a "spamming" forum.

In 2005 when I was with the *B2 squad, we played word association (and also 4-word post) at their forum just for kicks. Today here at CiX, I don't know why we play it. It's just one of those mindless things that only takes a second. I find much more enjoyment out of 4-word post instead because it's something that actually requires a bit of creativity. When you go back to the first page of that thread and start reading, the compilation is hilarious. We should compose a book out of that thread sometime, like an ebook and charge a lot of money for it. It would have the most random content ever! And nobody would buy it...

True. It's sad that you and I are the only ones that post here anymore with occasional visits from Pause.

Of course, considering where we were by the time we switched over to this site, we've lost maybe 10 or so people.
