Laptop Searching to Buy

Postby NiTeMaRe2U » February 14th, 2011, 9:00 pm

Back a couple of months ago, Zorro, Pause and myself were looking for the best laptop for around $1400 and lower, we had found the Asus ASUS G Series G53JW-A1 NoteBook Intel Core i7 740QM(1.73GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 1333 750GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M

I was wondering if this still is the top of the line laptop to buy as of now. This laptop is still out of stock on new egg it gets stocked up then in the next 3 to 5 days there all out again looks like the best laptop for gaming out there. This is the laptop im going to buy around March something since I'm back to work again. If there are any better please let me know asap!! Thanks NiTeMaRe2U!

In stock, same machine (only 4gb ram tho) $200 less:

if ure really really worried about the loss of 2gb, spend the $200 u saved on another stick.. you'll still have some extra $$ to take your gf out to dinner with ;)

..but you shouldn't be terribly worried about that 2gb.. not w/ a 460 8-)

Hey bro..

Asus is a good brand yeah, but their machines have been known to have a very high crash rate. Their most common problem is the same one with Gateway's and eMachine's, they overheat, alot.

Asus is a good brand yeah, but plan on not pushing it much.
