FACT: The kid had pot in his system.
FACT: The kid had just robbed a convenience store.
FACT: The cop stopped the kid for jaywalking.
FACT: The kid attacked the cop in his car, and the cop ended up in the hospital with injuries to his face.
FACT: The kid was shot 6 times, all from the front.
UNCONFIRMED:
After the kid started running away, the cop apparently got out of his car, drew his gun, and told the kid to put his hands up. The cop says the kid stopped, put his hands up, turned around, and taunted him by yelling "you'll never shoot me." The cop then claims the kid then suddenly rushed towards him head on. The cop claims he fired off 6 rounds in self defense.
MY OPINION:
In our country's justice system, you're presumed innocent until proven guilty. But I'm not part of our justice system, and based upon the evidence (and lack thereof) presented thus far, my early conclusion is to side with the cop. Before you draw the conclusion that I might be letting cultural and racial differences affect my thinking, let me say that I believe George Zimmerman is guilty of involuntary manslaughter against Travon Martin, and should not be walking around as a free man.
Research shows that one in three Clinton supporters are just as stupid as the other two.
