The Friend Request Verdict... I don't think so

For general talk about Cloud Nine / DF2.

The Friend Request Verdict... I don't think so

Postby BlackCat » March 30th, 2011, 8:11 pm

What determines whether or not I will accept a friend on Facebook? Easy!

Horrible English (coming from a person who has been living 18 years in the US), profanity and hypocrisy for the world to see are all criteria for me to ignore.

It still boggles my mind. Some people have no clue how bad they're making themselves look. Most of the teens here who don't have jobs cry that nobody wants to hire them and I can see why.

Sorry but I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit reading how bad this English is. My great-grandfather was a proofreader for a major news printing company so I think I obtained this problem from him. Your vs. you're and then vs. than drive me nutz.

My English isn't perfect either so I guess I'm just a hypocrite.

Rant over!!!

BM is the true master of English.

Zorro will back me up on that.

Zorro sucks at English.

If we could get you over that darn "loose" and "lose" hump... I think you'd be alright.

I still have to think twice every time I type either of those words. :(

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. It'd be cool if you gave BC a rant forum of his own. Then it could be a battle between BC and BM as to who's the most opinionated and intellectually bright among us (which would be folly, because we all know that's me - shhhhh).
